October brought a decline in total sales in the Forgotten Coast real estate market in the key communities of Apalachicola, Cape San Blas/Indian Pass, Carrabelle, Mexico Beach/St. Joe Beach, Port St. Joe, and St. George Island. There were 34 single family homes closed during the month with 56 properties currently under contract. Mexico Beach/St. Joe Beach had the highest number of transactions with 13 closings while St. George Island had the highest priced property to close, a gulf front home at $3.35 million.
