Sales declined during December in the Forgotten Coast real estate market in the key communities of Apalachicola, Cape San Blas/Indian Pass, Carrabelle, Mexico Beach/St. Joe Beach, Port St. Joe, and St. George Island. There were 30 single family homes closed during the month with 46 properties currently under contract. Mexico Beach/St. Joe Beach had the highest number of transactions with 12 closings while St. George Island had the highest priced property to close, a gulf front, four-bedroom home at $1.499 million.
