December ended 2021 on a high note for the Forgotten Coast real estate market and its key communities of Apalachicola, Cape San Blas/Indian Pass, Carrabelle, Mexico Beach/St. Joe Beach, Port St. Joe, and St. George Island. There were 63 properties closed during the month with 96 properties currently under contract. Mexico Beach/St. Joe Beach had the highest number of transactions with 28 closings while Cape San Blas had the highest priced property to sell, a gulf front home closing at $3.25 million.
