About
Shelley is a native Floridian who grew up in west Gadsden county, 75 miles upriver from St. George Island. She graduated from Emory University with a degree in International Business. After pursuing her equestrian avocation as an assistant manager at a Thoroughbred racing farm in Palmetto, Georgia, she moved back to Florida to sell real estate on St. George Island.
Shelley has been working in the St. George Island and Apalachicola real estate markets for nineteen years. She knows the ins and outs of both areas and has experience matching buyers with investment properties, permanent homes and commercial properties. Her talent lies in making sure you have all the information in front of you to make an informed decision regarding your purchase or the sale of your home.
You will find Shelley ready to assist in all steps of a real estate transaction. Her attention to detail, forthright manner and many years’ experience helps a transaction in all stages, from showing property to coordinating inspections and guiding the closing process.
Shelley lives with her husband in Apalachicola and spends as much time as possible enjoying this lovely area by bicycle, kayak and boat. Her husband, Rex, has owned and operated the Owl Café in downtown Apalachicola with his partners since 1997 and in 2014, Shelley, Rex and partners founded Oyster City Brewing Company. Her local knowledge and contacts guarantee that if you give her a call for any of your St. George Island or Apalachicola questions she will direct you in the right direction!
