Real estate sales were on the rise on the Forgotten Coast during February in the key communities of Apalachicola, Cape San Blas/Indian Pass, Carrabelle, Mexico Beach/St. Joe Beach, Port St. Joe, and St. George Island. There were 38 single family homes closed during the month with 93 properties currently under contract. Mexico Beach had the highest number of transactions with 16 closings and St. Joe Beach had the highest priced property to close, a gulf front home selling for $2 million.
