Real estate sales remained consistent on the Forgotten Coast during January with a slight rise in pending activity in the key communities of Apalachicola, Cape San Blas/Indian Pass, Carrabelle, Mexico Beach/St. Joe Beach, Port St. Joe, and St. George Island. There were 28 single family homes closed during the month with 65 properties currently under contract. Mexico Beach/St. Joe Beach had the highest number of transactions with 9 closings while Cape San Blas had the highest priced property to close, a gulf front home at $5.449 million.
