Sales were on the rise in the Forgotten Coast real estate market during May in the key communities of Apalachicola, Cape San Blas/Indian Pass, Carrabelle, Mexico Beach/St. Joe Beach, Port St. Joe, and St. George Island. There were 56 single family homes closed during the month with 62 properties currently under contract. Mexico Beach/St. Joe Beach had the highest number of transactions with 19 closings while St. George Island had the highest priced property to close, a bay front home in the St. George Plantation at $3.15 million.
