Shelley is a native Floridian who grew up in west Gadsden county, 75 miles upriver from St. George Island. She graduated from Emory University with a degree in International Business. After pursuing her equestrian avocation as an assistant manager at a Thoroughbred racing farm in Palmetto, Georgia, she moved back to Florida to sell real estate on St. George Island.

She knows the ins and outs of both areas and has experience matching buyers with investment properties, permanent homes and commercial properties. Her talent lies in making sure you have all the information in front of you to make an informed decision regarding your purchase or the sale of your home.

About
After ten years of traveling the country and world on an endless string of adventures, Grayson moved to St. George Island in 1999 to try his hand as an offshore fishing guide while commuting back and forth to Florida State in Tallahassee. After several fishing clients asked about real estate, Grayson got his real estate license, switched majors, and became one of the island’s few Captain Realtors. Graduating FSU in 2003 with a BA in Real Estate, Grayson devoted most of his time to the real estate career earning the Realtor of the Year award in 2007. The real estate downturn of the late 2000’s forced him to spend more time as a charter captain, but the two occupations merged seamlessly and many a deal was struck in his floating office which has always had the better view. Working a recovering market while maintaining a thriving charter business, many of Grayson’s fishing clients have become real estate customers and vice versa. Generous in nature, Grayson is serving his community as a director on the SGI Chili Cookoff Board since 2004, board member since 2003 for North Florida Medical Centers which owns/operates Eastpoint Medical Center, board member of the Apalachicola Artificial Reef Association since its inception in 2018 and is currently on the Battery Park Marina Committee for the City of Apalachicola. He can often be found at the numerous community events working as a volunteer.
As a former agent and Realtor of the Year recipient herself, his wife Lindsay is a closing agent with Kristy Banks PA and is often the friendly voice that helps guide clients through the more detailed processes of the real estate transaction. With his 20 years of local real estate experience plus 23 years as a local fishing guide and avid scuba diver, you can rely on Grayson’s in-depth knowledge to answer any questions you may have about the local real estate market or the wilder side of Franklin County.
